Windows 10 End of Life (EOL) is when Microsoft stops providing technical support and updates for the Windows 10 operating system. So, your PC will no longer receive the updates that ensure it runs smoothly and stays secure.
The official date is 14 October 2025. After this, support and security updates will stop for most people.
From 14 October 2025, you will no longer get free monthly security updates or patches, technical support or feature updates. This leaves you at risk of viruses, malware and cyber threats, plus poor system performance and functionality.
